ABOUT CALIFORNIA POPPY PUPPIES

Hello and welcome to the California Poppy Puppies website! We are excited to introduce ourselves as a small, family breeder located in Menifee, CA.

Our founder, Brittney, has a deep-rooted passion for animals — especially dogs. We are a family of four, including two young kids who love to cuddle with our puppies.

Our breeding dogs are never rehomed — they are part of our family for life. Because of this commitment, our program is intentionally kept small, producing only 1–2 litters each year. There may even be times when we do not have a litter in a given year, which is why we do not maintain a waiting list. This approach allows us to prioritize the health and happiness of our dogs over volume, and ensures that every litter receives our full care and attention.

Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by family life, and receive lots of love and socialization. This makes them well-adjusted and ready to become a cherished part of your family.

Our Lifelong Commitment

At California Poppy Puppies, our responsibility to our dogs doesn’t end when they go to their new homes. We believe every puppy deserves love and security for life, and we stand behind them every step of the way.

  • We Will Always Take Them Back: At any point in their life, if you cannot keep your puppy, we will take them back — no questions asked.

  • Never Rehomed Without Us: Our puppies may not be rehomed without our knowledge and approval. If a family’s circumstances ever change, they must notify us first. Any new home must be vetted to ensure safety and proper care.

  • No Shelters, Ever: Under no circumstances will one of our puppies end up in a shelter or rescue. If needed, we will gladly assist in placement to ensure every dog remains safe and loved.

  • Microchip Protection: Each puppy goes home microchipped with their family listed as the primary contact. We remain the secondary contact for life, serving as a safety net if a dog is ever lost or needs assistance.

  • Lifelong Support: Our families know that we are always just a call or message away. From training questions to health concerns, we will continue to be a resource for the lifetime of your puppy.
